Welcome to the website for the Oswestry Recorded Music Society - the only such organisation within Shropshire. CD recitals are presented on alternate Thursdays from September to May at the Parish Centre, Broad Walk, Oswestry, Shropshire. They commence at 7.30 pm and end at about 9.30 pm with an interval for refreshments. A warm welcome is extended to all those who find pleasure in listening to music. This season, as part of a publicity initiative, we are sponsoring the Attfield Theatre Company's production of The Seagull by Anton Chekhov which will run from 15th - 20th March 2010. We will also be staging a series of information sessions at Oswestry Library, September 22nd - 28th. See our publicity flyer.

Concert-goers many members take advantage of visits to concerts at the
Liverpool Philharmonic and Wrexham. Although not a
direct function of the ORMS details can be

here. We are affiliated to the Federation of Recorded Music Societies which supports Societies throughout the UK. Subscription is £15 per annum.
