Welcome to the website for the Oswestry Recorded Music Society - the only such organisation within Shropshire. This season we are celebrating our 50th anniversary.CD recitals are presented on alternate Thursdays from September to May, commence at 7.30 pm and end at about 9.30 pm with an interval for refreshments, at the Parish Centre, Broad Walk, Oswestry, Shropshire, where a warm welcome is extended to all those who find pleasure in listening to music. Concert-goers many members take advantage of visits to concerts at the
Liverpool Philharmonic and Wrexham. Although not a
direct function of the ORMS details can be
found here. We are affiliated to the Federation of Recorded Music Societies which supports Societies throughout the UK. S ubscription is £10 per annum.
